Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC) Family Hubs support families in the city with children aged from 0 to 19, and young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) up to age 25.
SIS was delighted to be commissioned by BHCC to create videos in 7 languages that explain what information, advice, and guidance the Family Hubs offer, and how to contact them.
Provision of information in other languages is key to improving equitable access to public services for residents of all communities in the city. Creating videos with translated visuals as well as a voiceover in the target language means that the information can be more widely understood and shared.
The SIS Projects Team has worked together with SIS linguists to create videos in the following languages (YouTube links):
Alternatively you can find all the videos and read more about the services on offer on the Family Hubs section of the BHCC website.
The videos are also hosted on SIS’ Service User pages in the translated resource libraries.
Thank you for your support in sharing these with anyone who could benefit from the information in the languages above about BHCC Family Hubs.
