Ben Williams, SIS Projects Coordinator, was very kindly invited to the dinner on Tuesday 12th February held at the China Garden restaurant in central Brighton. The evening started with a very impressive lion dance to welcome guests to the occasion. This was followed by a variety of speeches, further performances and also an awards ceremony. Finally, a sumptuous banquet was served with an extremely wide array of dishes on offer.
There was a great atmosphere throughout and everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the occasion. Many thanks once again to SIS Volunteer Linguist Jingyi Sun and the chairman of the Brighton and Hove Chinese Society, Tom Lam, for the invite and here’s to the Year of the Pig!
