Survey: BAME and charities

ACEVO (Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations) and Voice4Change are seeking to understand what people connected to charities think about race equality, diversity and inclusivity within the sector and the barriers faced. This follow on from recent #CharitySoWhite conversations around racism and the lack of racial diversity in the sector.

This online survey will take around 20 minutes to complete. The survey closes on 30 September 2019.

This survey is designed to be completed by people:

  • Classified as Black, Asian and/or Minority Ethnic (In census terms BAME category covers everyone outside the category ‘White British’)
  • who, in the last five years, have worked for any length of time as interns, employees, volunteers, associates/freelancers, or trustees in registered charities in England and Wales.
