Learning and Development Manager (part‐time 0.8FTE)

Permanent – 28 hours ‐ per week
(2019 ‐2020) NJC Spinal Point 23 – 25
£21 599 actual salary pa (£26 999 pa pro rata)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small friendly team. Your role will be crucial to
delivering the SIS Learning and & Development Strategy across all customer groups and
developing local BME community assets. You will be responsible for researching and
evaluating language need and managing targeted advertising for Self‐Employed Sessional
Linguists. You will drive a culture of continuous learning to enhance customer satisfaction.

You will be an individual who is self‐motivated, can work independently with initiative, and
as part of a team. You must have proven experience of designing and delivering learning
initiatives, be customer focused, and have excellent IT skills. You will also have excellent
communication, influencing, organisational and diplomacy skills.

Note: It is SIS policy that new employees are appointed to the bottom of the salary scale
range applicable to the post.
